Post 16 & EOTAS

A group programme designed by Innovate Dorset.

The Post 16 programme is for those with complex educational or social needs, who may need extra support to re-engage in education, training, and employment.

With a mixture of formal and informal learning, the aims are to keep students focussed, motivated, and engaged in progressing and meeting their full potential. The programme includes understanding the importance of teamwork; overcoming barriers to learning and employment; career exploration and volunteering opportunities.

• Small group learning, of no more than 6 students
• Support to gain personal, social, employability, and independent living skills
• Empowering approach to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-awareness
• An awareness and understanding of managing risk, including abuse, exploitation, and extremism, both in person and online
• Formal qualifications including Functional Skills, ASDAN Short Courses and sectional Duke of Edinburgh Certificates.
