"No child left behind."
At Innovate Dorset Ltd, we believe that every child and vulnerable adult has the right to live free from harm, abuse, and exploitation, regardless of age, ability, race, religion, gender, or sexuality.
We recognise our responsibility to safeguard those we work with, and that an essential part of our practice is working in partnership with other agencies to provide parents, staff, and volunteers with these principles that guide our approach to child protection and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
We ensure our practice protects those who receive support from Innovate Dorset Ltd, developing a safer environment for all.
"To this end, Innovate Dorset pleadges to be courageous, forthcoming, and clear when upholding the standards to which we work."
Kevin Tatchell. August 2024

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism. And include the requirement for staff to have read and agreed to the Government KCSIE 2024 Part One (Keeping Children Safe in Education) as part of our induction process for new staff.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.
